Company Quartermaster Sergeant ALBERT EDWARD EDGAR DEVONPORT 7th battalion Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment died on 8 February 1941 while a prisoner of war. He was 20.

He is buried in Poznan Old Garrison Cemetery, Poland.

He is remembered on the memorial to choristers and servers at the church of St John the Baptist, Southend, Catford.
