Lieutenant NORMAN STOLLARD DAVIES of the 2/7th battalion Essex Regiment was killed in action on 2 September 1918, aged 24.

He is buried in Dury Crucific Cemetery near Douai.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on both the WW1 memorial and a private memorial at Christ Church, Forest Hill.

Details:
He was the son of James and Kate Davies, of Clayton House, 13, Church Rd., Forest Hill. His brother Cecil died of pneumonia on 25 November 1918 while serving with the Occupied Enemy Territory Administration in Jerusalem.
