Second Lieutenant DAVEY, WILLIAM HENRY 1st/4th Battalion London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers). He died aged 21 on the 09 September 1916. He was awarded the Military Cross

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial for those missing at the battle of the Somme [Pier and Face 9 D and 16 B].

He is remembered on the memorial at Christ Church, Lee and Lee Church of Endgland School War Memorial.
