Rifleman 608202 ARTHUR CRONK of 18th (County of London) battalion, The London Regiment (London Irish Rifles) was killed in action on 7 April 1918, aged 34.

He is buried in Ancre British Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel.

He is alos remembered on the Sydenham South Suburban Gas Works war memorial.

Details:
He was born in Maidstone, the son of George and Emily Cronk. He was the husband of Ethel May Cronk of 29, Peel Street, Maidstone.
