Private 632326 ERIC WILLIAM COULSON of the 2/20th (County of London ) (Blackheath and Woolwich) Battalion the London Regiment died on 30 April 1918. Only a few days after Eric Coulson’s death the battalion left Palestine and returned to France.

He is buried and remembered in Jerusalem War Cemetery.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial in St Bartholomew’s church, Sydenham and also on the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour.

Details:
He was born in Guildford, the son of Harry and Florence Ellen Coulson, of 64, Kirkdale, Sydenham. His brother Henry served with the Royal Naval Division and was killed on 17 February 1917.
