Flight Sergeant STANLEY FREDERICK COOPER, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve died on 13 June 1944 while serving with 236 Squadron. At this time the squadron was flying Beaufighters from North Coates in Lincolnshire.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Air Forces Memorial at Runnymede. The Runnymede Memorial bears the names of over 20,000 airmen who were lost in the Second World War during operations from bases in the United Kingdom and Europe, and who have no known graves.

He is remembered on the the and in the Book of Remembrance at Addey and Stanhope School , Deptford.

He was 22 years old, the son of Frederick and Vera Cooper, of Lewisham
