Signalman CLAUDE ALDERSON JOHN COOKE of the London Division Royal Naval Reserve died on 15 May 1918 and is buried in Fleetwood Borough Cemetery, in Lancashire. Prior to his illness he had been serving on the anti-submarine trawler John Cattling.

Location of Memorial:

He is remembered on the war memorial at Haberdashers' Aske’s School in New Cross.

Details:

He was 18 years old, the son of Jethro James and Rosa Melinda Cooke, of 7, Radnor Street, Peckham.
