Air Mechanic 2nd Class CHARLES TERENCE CONNOR of the Fleet Air Arm was killed on 18 August 1940. He was one of 12 FAA personnel killed in an attack by Ju87 dive bombers on HMS Peregrine, the airfield at Ford in Sussex.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Hither Green Cemetery where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was the son of Charles and Louisa Connor of Downham.
