Private 27466 ALBERT HENRY COMBER of ā€˜Dā€™ Company, 15 Battalion, Canadian Infantry died of pneumonia on 7 January 1915, aged 24.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was born in Staplefield in Sussex on 7 July 1890. When he enlisted at Valcartier, Quebec on 14 September 1914 he was single and employed as a labourer.
