Cleak, Francis Charles George

War Service:
Sub-Lieutenant FRANCIS CHARLES GEORGE CLEAK , Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve was killed in a road accident on 18 January 1943 while attached to 614 squadron RAF. At this period the squadron was flying Bristol Blenheims from an airfield at Oulmene in Algeria.

He is buried in Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery.

He is also remembered in the Memorial Book at Addey and Stanhope School, Deptford.

Details:
He was the son of Ernest and Rosa Cleak, of Brockley. He was born in Greenwich in the spring of 1921.
