War Service:

Leading Telegraphist OWEN STANLEY CHIPCHASE died in an accident on 4 June 1920, aged 26. At the time of his death he was attached to HMS Victory, the generic title given to Portsmouth Naval Barracks.

Location of Memorial:

He is buried in Brockley cemetery.


He was the son of George William and Margaret March Curtis, of 59, Evelyn St., Deptford.
