Chiles, Douglas Edwin

War Service:
Sergeant 13205 DOUGLAS EDWIN CHILES of ‘D’ Company, 6th (Service) battalion, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry died of his wounds on 26 September 1915.

He is buried in Lissenthouek Military Cemetery near Poperinghe, Belgium.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered in the Book of Remembrance at St Saviour’s church, Forest Hill.

Details:
He was 21 years old, the son of Edwin and Annie Chiles of Forest Hill.
