Major FRANK THOMAS CHANDLER-HONNOR Royal Engineers died in hospital in Germany on 25 May 1946, aged 32. He had previously served with the Royal Fusiliers.

He is buried in Munster Heath War Cemetery, Germany.

He is remembered on the memorial to choristers and servers at the church of St John the Baptist, Southend, Catford.

Details:
He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Chandler-Honnor of Catford and husband of Elsie Winifred Chandler-Honnor of Nunhead. He attended St Dunstan's College Catford and he represented both school and county at lacrosse.

His brother Harold died on 26 December 1943 while serving with the Essex Regiment.
