Corporal 645028 Henry George Ernest CHANDLER 84 Squadron Royal Air Force died aged 26 whilst on a Japanese transport ship which was sunk on Monday 29 November 1943.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial Column 426.

He is remembered on the Singapore Memorial Column 426 and in the Brockley County School WW2 Book of Remembrance

He was the son of Henry George and Daisy Catherine Chandler
