He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was born in Rotherhithe, the son of John and Elizabeth Carr. He enlisted in Deptford. He married Minnie M. Walker in Camberwell in the spring of 1913.
