Lieutenant CYRIL WENTWORTH CAPES Royal Air Force died on 6 July 1918, aged 19.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Hollybrook Memorial, Southampton. The Hollybrook Memorial commemorates by name almost 1,900 servicemen and women of the Commonwealth land and air forces whose graves are not known, who were lost or buried at sea, or who died at home but whose bodies could not be recovered for burial.

He was the son of William Wentworth Capes and Florence Capes, of 122 Perry Vale, Forest Hill.
