Campbell, Percy Kenyon


War Service:
Captain PERCY KENYON CAMPBELL of 139 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery died on 21 May 1940. During the morning of 21 May the Germans attempted to cross the river Scheldt near Esquelmes but were replused after heavy fighting.

He is buried in Esquelmes War Cemetery.

He is remembered on the memorial to 91 and 139 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery in St Swithun’s Church, Hither Green.

He was 31, the son of John and Alice Campbell of Surbiton, Surrey.
