Burton, George Ascot

Private 97302 GEORGE ASCOT BURTON of the Royal Army Medical Corps died on 2 July 1918, aged 24. He had formerly served with 1/20th battalion London Regiment. He was wounded at Givenchy in July 1915.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Details:
He was the son of Aloysius and Mary Jane Burton of 35, Revelon Rd., Brockley.
