Edward William Henry Burbridge was a Private [service number 30503] in the 1st Battalion Essex Regiment. He died 12 October 1916 aged 30.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial to the missing of the Somme [pier and face 10 D].

Location of Memorial:
He is commemorated on the South Suburban Gas Works War Memorial at Bell Green, Sydenham.

Details:
He was the son of the late Thomas and Harriet Burbridge; husband of Amelia Daisy Burbridge, of 12, Southey Street, Penge.
