Private ALBERT VICTOR BUGGY of ‘A’ Company, 11th battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) was killed in action on 31 July 1917, aged 24.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the memorial at the church of St Mary the Virgin, Lewisham.

Details:
He was born in Rotherhithe and lived and enlisted in Lewisham. He was the son of Frank and Julia Buggy of 48, Ladywell Park, Lewisham.
