Private 6821 JOHN BRUSTER of the 2nd Battalion Honourable Artillery Company died on 3 May 1917 during the attack on the Hindenburg Line at Bullecourt. The HAC was unique in that it contained both infantry battalions and artillery batteries in the same regiment.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial

He is remembered on the memorial at Brockley School.
