Private 74307 MABERLEY LENS BROWN of 2/5th battalion, Durham Light Infantry died of pneumonia on 16 December 1918 in 50 General Hospital, Salonika.

He was buried in Mikra British Cemetery, Kalamaria, Salonika.

Location of Memorial:
He is commemorated in the Book of Remembrance in the church of St Saviour, Forest Hill.

Details:
He was 28. He was the son of Mr. M. L. Brown, of Milton Court Rd., New Cross, and the late Mrs. E. Brown. He married Ada Newnham in Lewisham in the summer of 1912. Prior to enlisting he worked for a laundry.
