Bombardier L/26778 ARTHUR WILFRED BRIDGER of ‘A’ Battery, 186 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery was killed in action on 17 August 1917.

He is buried in Buffs Road Cemetery near Ypres.

He is remembered in the Book of Remembrance at St Saviour’s church, Forest Hill.

Details:
He was 20 years old, the son of Arthur and Emily Bridger of Blythe Hill Lane, Catford.
