Rifleman R/31797 HORACE CHARLES BRAZIL of 8th battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps was killed in action on 26 December 1917, aged 36.
He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial.

He was the son of James and Alice Mary Brazil. In the spring of 1908 he married Lois Irons in Marylebone. They lived at 63, Algernon Rd., Lewisham.
