He died 20 November 1917 and is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial to the Missing of the Somme and on the memorial at Catford police station.
Details:
He married Winifred Daisy Hall in Lewisham in the summer of 1911. They lived at 101 Kilmorie Road, Forest Hill. He died on 20 November 1917, aged 33. ERNEST PHILIP BOWELL served as a police constable at Camberwell and Sydenham.
