Lieutenant JOHN HENRY BOOTHBY of ‘U’ Battery, Royal Horse Artillery was killed on 23 July 1916.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Dartmoor Cemetery, Becordel-Becourt, near Albert and he is commemorated on the memorial at St Stephen’s church Lewisham High Street.

Details:
He was the son of Henry Vernon Boothby and Augusta Boothby, of Point House Club, Blackheath. His brother Ernest Brooke died 10 July 1916.
