Details:
He was born in Lewisham in the spring of 1884, the son of the Rev. John Beza and Caroline Ada Louisa Blomfield. He taught for a year at Southgate County School, Palmers Green from 1910 – 1911, and was Foreign Language Master on the cadet training ship H.M.S. "Conway" before he joined the Army in 1914. Arthur died on 28 October 1918, aged 34 and is buried in Giavera British cemetery, Arcade, Italy.
