Sergeant JAMES EDWARD BINDON of the Military Mounted Police died on 8 October 1914, aged 45. He had previously served with the 1st (Royal) Dragoons.

He is buried in Bulford church cemetery near Salisbury, many of the burials in this cemetery are from Bulford training camp on Salisbury Plain.

He is remembered on the memorial in All Saints church, Blackheath.

Details:
He was the son of Edward and Mary Bindon of Bath and husband of Lilian Maria Bindon of Bennett Park, Blackheath.
