She is remembered at the Sandhurst School memorial at the School and at Hither Green Cemetery. She is also on the Lewisham Civilian War Dead Roll. Edith and her children are remembered on the Salvation Army memorial at Catford.
Details:
She was the daughter of Cpl. Leslie George Biddle, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and Edith Rose Biddle [who also died during WW2], of 22 Muirkirk Road. Her sister Anne Rosemary also died in this air raid.
