William Walter Bennett was a civilian killed in WW2 he also worked at the South Suburban Gas Works, Bell Green Lower Sydenham. He died 14 January 1945 at 100 Court Road, Orpington aged 39.

He is commemorated on the South Suburban Gas Works War Memorial, and the Orpington Urban District Council's War Memorial.

Details:
He was the son of Mr. E. Bennett.
