Warrant Officer 902952 Trevor Rees BENBOW 21 Squadron Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, he died aged 23 on Tuesday 19 September 1944 when navigating a Mosquito airplane which crashed at Bodgar Hill, Petersfield.

He is buried in Llangollen (Fron) Cemetery, Denbighshire Section X Grave 17.

He is remembered in the pages of the Brockley County School WW2 Book of Remembrance.

He was the son of Edward and Elizabeth Maud Benbow of Lewisham
