Private G/17304 LESLIE HENRY BEELEY of 11th battalion Royal Sussex Regiment was killed in action on 24 September 1917.

He is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial and on the war memorial at the parish church of St Mary, Lewisham.

Details:

He was 19 years old, the son of John Henry and Rose Christina Beeley, of 120, Courthill Rd, Lewisham. His brother John died in 1916 while serving with the Royal West Kent Regiment.
