Lance Bombardier 293146 WILLIAM BAXTER of 138 Heavy Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery died in Lewisham Hospital on 10 November 1918, aged 33.

He is buried in Brockley cemetery, where his name is recorded on the screen wall listing those whose graves have no headstone.

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the Lewisham Military Hospital memorial outside University Hospital Lewisham.

Details:
He was the son of Mrs. Sarah Higgins, of 25, Outram St., Mill Lane, Leicester.
