Private L/10128 ALFRED CHARLES BATTERHAM of 1st battalion Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) was killed in action on 19 June 1915, aged 19.

He is buried in Voormezeele Enclosure near Ypres.

Location of Memorial:
He is also remembered on the memorial at the church of St James, Hatcham.

Details:
He was the son of Alfred and May Batterham, of 31, Blythe Hill Lane, Catford. Before the war he was a carman.
