Corporal Percy Walter BARRETT of ‘D’ Battery, 280 Brigade Royal Field Artillery died on 1 October 1918, aged 24.

He is buried in Queant Communal Cemetery in Northern France.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the war memorial at St Mildred’s church, Lee and on the memorial to 91 and 139 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery in St Swithun’s church, Hither Green.

Details:
He was the son Mrs. Mary Anne Barrett, of 25, Baring Road, Lee. His brother William died on 3 October 1918 while serving with the Royal Horse Artillery.
