Trooper ROBERT FREDERICK BARDRICK of the Inns of Court Regiment, Royal Armoured Corps died on 12 September 1944, aged 33. At this period the regiment was a reconnaissance unit equipped with armoured cars.

He is buried in Leopoldsburg War Cemetery in Belgium.

Location of Memorial:
He is remembered on the Roll of Honour at the church of St John the Baptist, Southend. His name is also recorded in the Royal Armoured Corps Roll of Honour on display in the Tank Museum, Bovington, Dorset.

Details:
He was the son of Ernest and Harriet Bardrick of 32 Bamford Road, Lewisham. Both his parents were killed in an air raid at their home on 16 April 1941.
