He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial, Bay 9 or 10.

He is remembered on the Lee Church of England School WW1 Memorial the Christ Church WW1 War Memorial and the 20th London Regiment Roll of Honour.

Son of William James [possible death June Q 1929 @58 Lewisham RD] and Mary Baker, of 5, Lochaber Road, Lewisham, husband of Gwenllian Helen Baker [nee Randall Married June Q 1915 Lewisham RD], of 12, Turner Road, Lee, Lewisham. Children: Dorothy M E [June Q 1915 Lewisham RD], Jean C [Dec Q 1916 Lewisham RD].
