Rifleman 304652 GEORGE FREDERICK THOMAS ASCOTT of 5th battalion London Regiment (London Rifle Brigade) died on 25 March 1918, aged 19. At the time of his death he was attached to the 1/28th battalion (Artists Rifles).

Location of Memorial:

He is remembered on the Arras Memorial and on the war memorial at the church of St Catherine, Hatcham.

Details:

He was the son of Frederick and Annie Ascott, of 139, Breakspears Rd., Brockley.
