Arnot, Laurian Anthony Deane

Second Lieutenant LAURIAN ANTHONY DEANE ARNOT of 2nd battalion Gordon Highlanders was killed in action on 25 September 1915, the first day of the battle of Loos.
He had originally served as private 1688 in 14th London ( London Scottish).

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial

He is remembered on the memorial at the Private Banks Cricket and Athletic Club in Catford

Details:
He was 21, the son of Walter Oliphant Arnot and Eleanor Frederica Rosevear Arnot. His brother Colin was killed in March 1916 while serving with the Gloucestershire Regiment.
