Private OWEN WILLIAM APPS of 1st battalion East Surrey Regiment was killed in action on 29 April 1915, aged 20.

Location of Memorial:
He is buried in Chester Farm Cemetery near Ypres and remembered on the war memorial at St Peter’s church, Brockley.

Details:
He was born in Catford, the son of Martha Apps of 9 Manor Park, Lee and the late John Apps.
