Anset, Victor Maurice


War Service:
Guardsman 2616840 Victor Maurice ANSET, 3rd Battn. Grenadier Guards was killed in action aged 22, while manning a bren gun near Comines during the retreat from Belgium on Monday 27th May 1940.

He is buried in Comines (Komen) Communal Cemetery Hainaut, Belgium Grave 49.

He is remembered in the Brockley County School WW2 Book of Remembrance.

He was the son of Henry and Elizabeth L. Anset of Catford
