Type: Large bronze tablet

Description: Bronze tablet six feet wide by three feet high, in the centre there is the figure of a soldier of a mounted unit standing at the salute with a Union Flag in the background. The names of the fallen are inscribed on either side. Above the soldier is the inscription “For King and Country” and at the foot on a separate tablet is inscribed “To the glory of God and in memory of parishioners and seat-holders of Holy Trinity Parish Church, Sydenham who lost their lives in the Great War 1914-1918”

Ceremonies:
The memorial was unveiled on 16 December 1919 by Major General Sir Alban Crofton-Atkins K.C.B, and dedeicated on 19 February 1921 by Canon Arnott.
