"This tablet was erected by the church and congregation in proud and loving memory of those of their congregation who died for their country in the Great War 1914-1919"

Wars Commemorated: First World War

Ceremonies: The tablet was unveiled on 20 December 1919 by Mr. Joseph Hawkridge at a special service at which the minister the Rev.D. J. Nicholas, B.D. officiated. The Mayor of Lewisham, Councillor Harry Chiesman J.P., M.B.E was present together with a number of Councillors.
