The metal plaque was unveiling on 26 November 1994 unveiled by Gurbakhsh Garcha [Mayor of LB Lewisham] and Joan Ruddock MP

The London Borough of Lewisham Maroon Plaque marking the 65th Anniversary of the incident was unveiled on 25 November 2009 by Sir Steve Bullock, The Mayor of Lewisham
