Type: Stone Pillar in Memorial Garden

Description: Granite pillar on two step base with bronze wreath and date within the garden. In the North West angle of the old church there is a Memorial Garden. An open book form tops a granite pillar positioned on a two step base with a wreath and date. The inscription is on the book form and at the base of the memorial is inscribed “Restored in Memory of Evelyn Bowden November 1945”

Inscription:
This garden is dedicated in remembrance of all who died in this parish through enemy action.
Called from a world at war unto his kingdom of peace 1939-1945
