Lieutenant Peter George FOGDEN of 821 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm was killed on 20 December 1952 when his Sea Fury crashed into the Yellow Sea off the coast of Korea while on a sortie from the aircraft carrier HMS Glory. While attacking a junk south of Haeju the starboard wing of his aircraft was seen to be on fire. It is possible this may have been caused by faulty ammunition.
