Was at Clifton Hill School, New Cross later Deptford Green School, now demolished

Type: Wooden shrine, containing a Roll of Service bound in golden calf with a cross in gold on the cover

Description: The shrine was designed by the Central London Branch of the School of Arts and Crafts, the binding of the roll of service was by Mr. F. Sketcher, school keeper and the names of the fallen were added to panels to the right and left of the cabinet by Mr. Trevor R. Jeremiah, art master.

Ceremonies: The memorial was unveiled by the Mayor of Deptford, Alderman W.H. Green J.P. and dedicated by the Bishop of Woolwich on Friday October 27 1922.
