Description:
The memorial consists of a board inscribed with the names of former members of the scout troop who died in the two wars.

War Commemorated: First World War

History: This was one of the first Scout troops having been formed in 1908.
When war broke out the troop were at summer camp in Hartfield, Sussex. The troop newspaper noted :"War declared and all Scouts recalled for Duty in London”. By January 1915 twenty-nine former members of the Troop were then serving with the colours. By February 1916 this had gone up to fifty-two and by 1918 to seventy.
