Catford, St Laurence Church WW1 War Memorial

Location: Old St Laurence Church
The Old Church was demolished and the memorial lost.
A new church was built at 37 Bromley Road SE6 2TS, but the memorial was not transferred here.

Type: Oak Screen

Description:
Carved Oak Screen erected at the entrance to the chapel to the south of the chancel. The ornamental top beam carries and inscription in gilt; there are three panels at the foot of the screen, three on each side of the entrance, with the names of 77 men of the parish who fell and a further inscription.
