from Lewisham who left to fight
in the International Brigade, Spain
1936 - 1939

They fought alongside
the Spanish people against
Fascism and to save liberty
and preserve peace for all.

Remembering the citizens of the Borough
who actively supported the Spanish people
in their struggle for liberty.
